The following shows how to export contacts in Microsoft Outlook to a CSV file which can be opened in Excel or shared with others.

First, open Outlook and select the "File" menu from the Top ribbon.

From the File menu, select "Open & Export", then select "Import/Export".

In the Import and Export Wizard, select the “Export to a File” action from the list, and click Next.

Select the "Comma Separated Values" (CSV) file type and click Next.

You will now be shown a list of all available Outlook folders. Choose "Contacts" from the list, and click Next.
Note: If you have multiple mailboxes, make sure that you choose the contacts under the correct email address.

Enter or browse to a file location to save the CSV, and provide a name for the file, then click Next.

Now that the export has been prepared, simply click "Finish" and wait for the export to complete.
Depending on the number of items being exported, this may take several minutes.

Congrats! You now have a CSV file containing all saved contacts!

Important note: This will only export contacts that have been saved to your contacts list. You can verify who is in your Contacts list by going to the "People" tab, and checking what contacts show under "My Contacts" for a specific account.
